WARNING: Skipping any amount of text will almost certainly destroy the experience for you, as this is kind of a story-focused game and the gameplay also relies heavily on what is told to you. It's not too long of a game anyways (I'd say 10 minutes tops), so I strongly advise against skipping anything.

What's the game about?:

Trash is falling from the sky, no one knows why, and you, as a Garbage Collection System, are tasked with catching it. Do you have what it takes?

This game was made for the one-week-long Beginner's Jam Summer 2026 (https://itch.io/jam/beginners-jam-summer-2026). This not only my first time participating in a game jam but also the first time I've developed a game in Godot, so I am sorry in advance for any bugs or design flaws, and I hope you enjoy the game.

Controls:

Movement: W and DLeft and Right arrow keys, or Left and Right mouse buttons.

Whenever the game prompts you to press the Enter key, you can also use your Middle Mouse Button.

You can mute or unmute the game's music by pressing M, not because it has any copyright (I "composed" it myself), but because it will probably hurt your ears.

good game and nice easy gameplay but starting from 5th day sometimes its impossible to catch trash i just not fast enough might be skill issue but that was my only problem

thanks so much for playing!

thanks for the feedback, and don't worry cause it's definitely not a skill issue. i too noticed while playtesting that sometimes it's just too difficult or straight-up impossible to catch trash that's too far away, because the player isn't fast enough.

however, while it is a design flaw indeed, i couldn't think of a simple enough way to fix it without overscoping the project, and i was still able to beat the game comfortably while playtesting (as one can make up to 5 errors each day), so i left it as is without giving it much thought.

if it's not too much of a bother, could you tell me if you were able to beat the game despite this situation?

in retrospect, it was a mistake not to have any playtesters other than myself, i should have asked a friend or something and im sure they would have told me if the game was too annoying to beat in this state.

I just rage quit at 5th level, the game was interesting and someday I will try to beat it just to see the ending

thanks for replying! i really appreciate your honesty and hope you see the ending someday. also, i totally understand the rage quit, cause losing to something you can't quite control can be very frustrating indeed.

Hello, nice gameplay.

thanks a lot!
